Enjoy a unique way to discover the beautiful Matukituki Valley with this three hour jet boating and wilderness walk adventure that allows you to travel deep in to the valley to immerse yourself in all of its spectacular beauty. Travelling the Matukituki River, you'll spend an hour soaring the waterways by jet boat enjoying the magnificent views of mountains, glaciers and more. Along with this adrenalin pumping experience, you'll also enjoy a 50 minute wilderness walk showcasing to you even more incredible sights that are only possible by foot.

After enjoying a scenic shuttle bus drive around the shores of Lake Wanaka to the jet boating departure point, you'll be suited up before climbing in to the boat for 60 minutes of heart racing fun. Performing tricks and manoeuvres sure to get you holding on tight, prepare yourself to feel adrenaline pumping through your veins. Not just an extreme adventure however, this jet boating experience couples as a fantastic sight seeing opportunity. From the boat you'll travel beneath mountains and glaciers, past sites that were used in the making of Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit movies, into the beautiful World Heritage Mount Aspiring National Park and more.

Once deep in to the mountains of the park you'll disembark the jet boat for your wilderness walk, ready to explore waterfalls, moss covered forests, and glacier fed streams. With the opportunity to even walk beneath Avalanche Glacier when conditions permit, this experience really is something to boast about. As you hear stories about this magnificent, ice carved landscape, you'll truly be left in awe by this unique part of New Zealand.

For this tour simply bring a warm jacket, sturdy footwear suitable for walking, sunglasses and water and food if you require it. Tours leave at 10am and return at 1pm during September until May.
