More info

Flynns Beach is a picturesque location in Phillip Island for a beach outing and is loved by surfing lovers. With waves perfect for surfing and 1.3 km of sandy coastline to enjoy, Flynns Beach is the perfect spot if you're looking for an escape from the crowds.

With its pristine coastline and excellent surf conditions, it's a favourite among experienced surfers.

When you get there, don't forget to check out Cat Bay - just a short walk away - for some of the best photography locations on Phillip Island. Note that you cannot visit this beach after dusk because of the little penguins.

The best time to come is during the winter when the waves are highest - although note that this isn't a patrolled beach, it can be dangerous with sharks and rocky areas.

When the sun shines, take a break from swimming to bask in the glorious Australian sunshine - Flynns Beach is excellent for getting your tan on too!

Keep in mind that dogs aren't allowed on this beach though.
